give more, expect less
Today, I am grateful to know expectations are just premeditated resentments, and to have the tools to help me approach life without attachment.
I am learning how to identify what I need and ask for it, instead of expecting others to be mind readers.
I accomplished recognizing when I was irritated, and pausing so I could identify what my inner family needed in that moment.
I delighted in reconnecting with an old friend, in venting to my soul sister, in belly laughs, and in taking in the sweet bird sounds at sunset.
