change is hard, but worth it

Today I am grateful for the growing distance between me and the antics of my mind. I am learning how to receive compliments and kind words while retaining humility and paying thanks to the Universe for her part in it (it’s never all me). I accomplished putting my ego in a timeout when she started judging others and wanting to climb up her comparison pedestal.  I am not better nor worse than anyone else, we are all doing the very best we can with what we have.  I delighted in seeing two birds perched on the back of a horse.
