ask for what you need


Today, I am grateful that I have people who have my back.  I am not alone.  You are not alone.  We are in this together. 

I am learning how to identify when I need help.  In a moment of clarity, I discovered I struggle with knowing when I need help.  This prevents me from asking for what I need.  Now that I recognize that, I can tune in more carefully to the feelings I experience leading up to the moments when I experience being overwhelmed.  

I accomplished receiving feedback with an open heart and an open mind.  In the past, I experienced shame or guilt when someone offered radical candor.  Today, I received another person's words and intention, and it brought me to a deeper level of self-discovery. 

I delighted in dancing it out.  I let music and the spontaneous movements of my body clear the energy of today and those I interacted with, I allowed it all to gently fall away.
