Let your imagination run free
Today, I am grateful for my mind. Often, I work to turn down the volume of my thoughts, particularly when they are ruminating, future planning, or running down the rabbit hole of negativity, judgement, and fear. It’s equally important for me to pay gratitude to my mind for my creativity, imagination, and intention are born from this place. Just like I find peace in a moving meditation, I can find joy in letting my mind run free into the forest of dreams.
I am learning how to re-write my story. Like many people, I have experienced pain and trauma. Instead of dwelling in the victim space where I blame everyone else and the Universe for what happened in the past, I am focused on the strengths, the redwoods that have grown from the seeds and broken through the dark soil of my past.
I accomplished staying calm and centered through a situation that would have previously caused me stress.
I delighted in a productive day and in receiving an invite to a friend's wedding.
