Your future is bright

Today, I am grateful for the barista that greets me by name and with a genuine smile when I walk through the door of my local coffee shop. This little moment of genuine human connection brings a lightness and joy to my heart.

I am learning how to trust my future is bright and full of beautiful possibilities.

I accomplished making space for a release before I began my work day.  We have constructed a society where feeling the feelings makes us “weak” or “vulnerable” like it’s a bad thing.  It’s not acceptable to cry in the board room, or lash out at a coworker or break out in spontaneous laughter mid-presentation.  As we work to redefine these constructs, we must make room for the expression to happen.  Pause in moments where you feel safe, be willing, and gently welcome whatever needs to come out to be released.

I delighted in sharing stories with my cousin, in being joined by hummingbirds throughout my day, and in returning to work.
