receive gratitude
Today, I am grateful for my dog. He is a kindred spirit who encourages me to stay present, to laugh, and to play every day.
I am learning how to ask for what I need. To put down the weight of guilt and shame, to break down the walls of fear, and to fuel my vulnerability with courage.
I accomplished providing direct feedback in the moment and I responded with positivity to an underhanded "cutting" comment.
I delighted in receiving gratitude from a soul sister, in a delicious BBQ dinner, and in binge watching the final episodes of a soapy series.
