observe without evaluating

Today, I am grateful for the financial security that gives me the freedom to check into a hotel room when my home is hit by a gnarly winter storm. 

I am learning how often my immediate reaction comes from a place of fear, and how my heart opens when I can shift my perspective and respond from a place of compassion. 

I accomplished listening to signs from my earth angels and trusting the Universe. 

I delighted in waking to a winter wonderland, in ordering fancy takeout, and in curling up with the dog watching movies in a warm bed.
