Today, I am grateful for the beautiful moments. Those precious seconds when you realize the interconnectedness of it all. 

I am learning what it means to choose my own family. Setting healthy boundaries and being honest about what I need, especially with my biological parents, is hard. 

I accomplished taking the pup for a walk. 

I delighted in a good cry before work, in seeing magnificent sunlight burst through grey clouds at sunrise, in connecting with my bonus mom and sister, and in a text exchange with a friend I love.
