celebrate the cracks


Today, I am grateful for time I can dedicate entirely to things that bring me joy. 

I am learning how to view different parts of myself not as “flaws that need to be fixed, but as qualities of my wholeness, my uniqueness,” to be cherished and celebrated.  

I accomplished keeping my energy grounded and helping lull a crying baby to sleep. 

I delighted in spending the day with people I love, in holding a baby and watching him smile, and in walking the dog around a quiet city at sunrise taking photos of beautiful things I saw.
