let what is, be
Today, I am grateful for a boss that helps me get better, not just professionally, but personally. My boss supports me in becoming a better human, and that is freaking awesome.
I am learning how to give myself the time I need when I need it. I have had a tendency of rushing my response because I have created false narratives and tied my worth to the opinion of others. Now, I am slowly practicing the art of the pause, giving myself space to understand how I feel and identify what I need, however long that might take me.
I accomplished openly giving and receiving candid feedback. I love that I have relationships with people that I can share perspectives with and that humbly share theirs with me.
I delighted in silently standing on my deck, looking out at the trees, and listening to the birds sing at dusk, in saying my lovingkindness prayer, and in making an unexpected seven am meeting.
