be in the here and give thanks

Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to share a smile with a stranger. 

I am learning how to pause before my mind takes my ego on a fantasy ride. 

I accomplished making it to farmers market and getting to class in time. 

I delighted in receiving a handmade card from a little girl that expands my heart, in celebrating the end of the semester with an energetic group of kids, and in enjoying a beer while listening to great tunes and people watching.
