Today, I am grateful for animal spirits and for an increasing awareness that keeps me going.
I am learning how to hold on loosely, how to take a step forward on a specific path while staying open, knowing the next step could shift in thousands of directions.
I accomplished recognizing my core attachment is immediately triggered when I interact with people of the opposite sex that I am remotely attracted to, interested in or that I believe hold a position of authority. When this happens my need to know I deserve to be loved colors my response and controls my behavior. Now that I recognize this pattern, I can use these interactions to check myself, my motivations, and my responses.
I delighted in feeling the sunshine on my face, in a bright and sunny walk with the Poebear, in watching falcons fly gracefully through the air, and in communing with the baby bird that frequents my carport.
