feelings will always be there
Today, I am grateful to know that feelings will always be there, and to have the tools that help me to observe them instead of being swept away by them.
I am learning how to be conscious of my thoughts during moments of perceived repetition, how to move through my routines thoughtfully. There is no experience that will be relived, but it’s so easy to fall out of the present moment when a task has to be repeated.
I accomplished going for a run and genuinely enjoying it.
I delighted in an extended seated meditation, in a great yoga practice, and in our Wednesday night ritual of yoga, live music and best of all connecting with friends.
