where the wild things are

Today, I am grateful for my spiritual practice, for meditation, and for prayer. 

I am learning how to be honest and encouraging with kids to help support them in becoming kind and confident adults. 

I accomplished being ok with being a little late to a commitment so I could make myself a healthy breakfast. 

I delighted in working with the kids, in witnessing their huge smiles and the pride they have in themselves, in helping a mama and her ducklings cross the street, in connecting with a friend I don’t get to talk with often, in a delicious iced blended mint mocha, and in homemade vegan cookies from a student.
