“We are never more fully alive, more completely ourselves, or more deeply engrossed in anything than when we are playing.”
Today, I am grateful for opportunities to be of service, particularly when they involve creative play, and for the way they help me stay out of self.
I am learning how to release comparison thinking.
I accomplished recognizing when my ego felt threatened by a 15 year old.
I delighted in seeing a bald eagle, in making pinwheels and owl paintings with kids, and in spending the evening laughing with one of my favorite little humans.
