practice makes progress


Today, I am grateful to no longer believe it’s my responsibility to “fix” everything. 

I am learning when I ruminate it’s usually because I am avoiding feeling a feeling, and if I give myself the space to feel, I release the repetitive thoughts. 

I accomplished feeling angry and letting myself scream out loud. 

I delighted in receiving pictures of my friend’s adorable new baby, in officially starting a new part time job, and in the Poebear laying in my lap during my meditation begging for scratches.
