take in the moment


Today, I am grateful for the people that support me, that love me unconditionally, that hold space to help me be my best self, that teach me how to trust, and encourage me to be my authentic self. 

I am learning how to release the need to be understood. This is a latent people pleasing behavior connected to an old belief that my worth had to be earned. 

I accomplished sitting in dual awareness, watching anger and fear rise like waves while simultaneously having a deep feeling of peace. 

I delighted in a cry turning into a laugh, in dancing it out on an early morning walk with the Poebear, and in our Wednesday night ritual of yoga, music, and connection.
