"acceptance doesn't mean resignation"
Today, I am grateful for the self-awareness, tools, support system, and willingness to do the work.
I am learning how to embrace all of my emotions, to hold space for them, to feel them, and to move through them.
I accomplished filling my day with things that bring me joy and not shying away from the "hard" stuff. I attended a new to me dance class, found inner peace during a noisy meditation, asked for what I needed, and I did the footwork.
I delighted in celebrating my person's progress, in a sound bath and hour-long meditation, in seeing my bestie, in singing with a friend I love, in connecting with a man I'm getting to know, in an ugly cry, and in spending time with "little" me.
